Kings Royal the Site of National Sprint Car Museum Auction
National Sprint Car Museum special events coordinator Mike Noftsger is headed to the World of Outlaws-sanctioned Kings Royal championship this weekend at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, for the annual museum-benefit auction. Mike, fresh off his trip to Skagit Speedway for the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup and the activities there, will coordinate the live auction in Eldora's Multi-Purpose Building on Saturday, July 16, at 2:30 p.m.
Said Mike Noftsger today, "We can't thank Larry Boos, Roger Slack and Tony Stewart enough for their support of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum all year long, but especially during their Kings Royal weekend, July 14-16. The auction features unique items autographed by the late Tommy Hinnershitz, Kyle Larson, Joey Saldana, Dick Sutcliffe, Dave Blaney, A.J. Foyt, Steve Kinser, Joe Leonard, Doug Wolfgang, Kasey Kahne, Brett Hearn, Jeff Gordon, Rico Abreu, the late Bob Trostle, Rick Ferkel, the late Gary Bettenhausen, Johnny Rutherford, Donny Schatz, Lynn Paxton, Kenny Schrader, Larry Dickson, the late Earl Baltes and many, many others. We also look forward to having our state-of-the-art GF1-Ti22/Shaver Specialty Racing Engines sprint car number 11 raffle car at this year's Kings Royal event."
Raffle tickets can be purchased during the Kings Royal weekend, by visiting the museum in Knoxville, Iowa, or by calling the non-profit museum at 1-800-874-4488.
