HILL DRIVES FROM LAST TO FIRST FOR 10TH WIN OF THE SEASON IN MOD LITES
In the 15-lap Modified Lite feature, James Hill demonstrated that starting position isn’t a factor for him this season. Hill was forced to go to his backup car and start in the rear after suspension issues developed in his primary car in the heat race.
Harry Mears led the first two laps before James Wood moved on top. By lap three Hill had rocketed around the top of the track and was running in third. Brandon Dennis took over on lap four with Hill following into second.
Hill took the lead two laps later and would lead the rest of the distance for his 10th win of the season. Dennis finished in the second spot with Tim White third. Fourth went to Aaron VanVorst and Jake Nelson rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Nick Nash and VanVorst.
