ADAMS LEADS FIRST & LAST LAP IN LITTLE LINCOLNS - ROBERT REED GOES WIRE TO WIRE IN TRUCKS
The 12-lap Little Lincoln Vintage feature was an unusual affair as Landy Adams would lead only the first lap and the last lap for the win. Mel Joseph, Jr. took control on the second lap and would lead all to the final turn.
Going into the fourth turn Joseph’s car slowed dramatically and Adams out dueled Kirk Lawson to the finish line for the win. Third went to Tommy Elliott with Jordan Herbert fourth and Joseph limped across the line in fifth.
Robert Reed would lead wire to wire in the 12-lap Super Truck feature for the win. Twenty-four trucks started the event that saw David Smith chasing Reed until two laps to go. While the leaders were working through traffic, Kara Klink got sideways in the second turn and Smith had no place to go making heavy contact and ending his night.
Mattie Long would take over the chase but Reed would make no mistakes and he drove to the victory. Long finished in second with Dale Elliott coming from tenth to finish in third. Fourth went to Noah Vincent who started in 12th and Matthew Smith rounded out the top five.
