JOSH RICHARDS TIES WoO ALL-TIME WIN TOTAL WITH $10,000 VICTORY IN FULTON BANK 50

Delmar, DE – Short Results: Current World of Outlaw Craftsman Late Model point leader, Josh Richards of Shinnston, WV won the $10,000 Fulton Bank 50 Thursday night at the Delaware International Speedway. The win was his 14th of the season and the 72nd of his career tying him with Daryl Lanigan for all time wins with the Outlaws.

Richards started in sixth and took the lead from Millsboro, Del.’s Amanda Whaley who had led the first nine laps. Whaley made her own history in the race finishing second in her heat and becoming the first female to lead a WoO event. She would finish fifth in the 50 lap main which also was the best finish ever by a female in a WoO main.

Kenny Pettyjohn of Millsboro also had a good night finishing second in his heat and drawing the pole starting position. Pettyjohn drove to a solid fourth place finish behind Richards, Evans, Ga.’s Brandon Overton and Zebulon, Ga.’s Shane Clanton.
