JAMMIN JAMES STAYS PERFECT ON THE YEAR IN MOD LITES
The Mod-Lites had some great side-by-side race action on the night with James Hill and Nick Sapp working their way through the field to the front. In the feature it was Kirk Miles Sr, on the pole with Ryan Dryden starting second. Dryden would quickly make work of Miles Sr., and move into the lead on the first lap. Dryden would continue to hold down the lead for the next several laps.
Behind him it was “Nitro Nick Sapp and “Jammin James Hill working their way through the field. Sapp started ninth and Hill started eighth, and by lap two had jumped to second and third respectively. Dryden, Sapp, and Hill would continue to battle as the laps went on with Hill putting heavy pressure on Sapp for the second position. Hill would get around Sapp on lap five, and was charging hard for the lead. Lap nine saw Hill close in on Dryden, and made his way into the lead as they circled the half-mile. Sapp would eventually get by Dryden on lap 10, but was unable to catch up to the rocket ship that Hill had on that night. Hill would go on to win his 3rd race of the year and further his points lead in the division.
