ANOTHER WEEKEND - ANOTHER WASHOUT AT DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL
DELMAR, DE - Inclement weather continues to put the 2016 racing season at the Delaware International Speedway on hold. The grounds have had little or no opportunity to dry for the past two weeks and steady rain throughout Friday night into Saturday morning has once again forced the speedway to cancel tonight's S.R. Pete & Sons/United Racing Club Sprint Car racing program.
Adjustments to the schedule are in the works. Scheduled for May 14 is Elliott Farms Night with a 20 lap Fall Championship qualifier for the Crate Models plus all weekly divisions and the Super Trucks. Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.Â
