STRATTON WINS TIGHT BATTLE FOR 9TH WIN IN MOD LITES

Alan Passwaters took off from the pole to lead the first lap of the 15-lap Mod Lite feature. The yellow was out on lap one when Landis Musser clipped a tire and nearly flipped ending his night. Mike Stratton came charging through the field into the lead on lap three. One lap later Passwaters slowed and was tagged hard by Jake Nelson bringing out the second yellow.

 

James Hill worked by Jason Musser for second on the restart and was trying to work the high line around Stratton. With three laps to go Jimmy Wills got by Jason and joined Hill in a spirited three car battle for the lead. Stratton was up for the challenge and held on for his ninth win of the season. Hill finished a close second with Wills third. Brandon Sturgis got by Jason Musser with one to go to finish in fourth. Heats were won by Jason Musser and Sturgis.
