DWAYNE HECK RUNS AWAY WITH VINTAGE FEATURE - ROBERT REED TAKES SLIDE FOR 5
In the caution free 12-lap Vintage Stock Car championship it was Dwayne Heck shooting from fourth starting spot to grab the lead on lap one. Once out front Heck ran and hid from the field as he drove to his first Fall Championship win in the division. Freddy Brightbill held off Rob Schirmer and Scott Calhoun to finish in second and C.J. Schirmer rounded out the top five. First Sportsman was Kelly Putz who finished seventh overall and collected the $20 bonus from the Southern Delaware Vintage Stock Car Club. Heck collected $120 in lap leader money.
In the Slide for 5 final Robert Reed recorded his second big win of the season and his first Fall Championship victory. Rounding out the top five were Charles Shawber, Stewart Gray, Tina Nelson and Mike Creppon. Reed collected $50 in lap leader money and Creppon received the $25 bonus from Carolyn Parsons for supporting Breast Cancer Awareness.
