RAY GULLIVER SCORES FIRST WIN OF SEASON IN MOD LITES
Nick Sapp and Josh Clark captured the Mod Lite qualifying heats but a ten car inversion draw would place Jason Musser on the pole in the 15-lap Mod Lite feature. Ray Gulliver would start behind Musser and Nick Nash but would take the lead coming off the fourth turn for lap one. Mike Stratton quickly worked into second as James Hill was making a charge to the front from his starting spot in the rear.
By the halfway sign Gulliver was working traffic in the lead with Stratton and Nash second and third. Brandon Sturgis held the fourth spot and Curt Miles, Jr. was running in fifth just ahead of Hill. Hill got by Miles, Jr. with four to go and with two laps to go took fourth from Sturgis. Gulliver would remain flawless to pick up his first win of the season over Stratton by .8 seconds. Hill got by Nash on the final lap to end a great drive in third with Nash fourth and Sturgis fifth.
