ASHLEY MERRITT GETS FIRST WIN OF SEASON IN CHARGERS
Geoff Carey and Chris Martinez tangled in the second turn at the start of the 10-lap Delmarva Charger feature with Martinez getting upside down. He was not injured in the crash. Jay Sipple led the first three circuits after the restart. Ashley Merritt, who started in seventh was up to second by lap two and took the lead on lap four. Merritt held off Jay Sipple for the remainder of the distance for her first win this season. Jay Worth finished in second with Kyle Tubbs third. Fourth went to Bud Sipple and Kevin Kovash rounded out the top five.
