TIM TRIMBLE SCORES 1ST WIN IN AC DELCO MODS

Tim Trimble driving the Ellis Motorsports AC Delco PSC Modified started on the point in the 15-lap feature and took control from the drop of the green. Trimble was followed by a strong top five with Chad Clark running in second and Jordan Watson in third. Joseph Tracy held the fourth spot and Trent Willey ran in fifth.

Willey worked his way into the fourth spot by the halfway sign but spun with four laps to go and was tagged hard by Westley Smith. Neither driver was injured but Willey was out for the night. A series of caution in the final five laps kept the field on Trimble’s back bumper.

Trimble would make no mistakes as he drove to his first win of the season. Clark chased the entire distance to finish in second with Watson third. Fourth went to Tracy and John Curtis rounded out the top five. Fast time in qualifying went to Watson.
