13th-place finish in Bristol Dirt Nationals finale

Mark Whitener and Big Frog Motorsports returned to the dirt-covered Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, Tenn.) on Friday evening for the final two rounds of the Bristol Dirt Nationals. Following a fifth-place finish in his heat, Whitener secured his spot into the A-Main with a third-place finish in his B-Main. With $50,000 on the line, Mark was one of five cars that retired early. The following night, Mark gained five spots in his heat race to pick up the eight-lap victory. Starting the $50,000-to-win finale in fourth, Whitener salvaged a 13th-place outing after getting taken out by another competitor.
