Belleville, IL – The Midwest Big Ten Series Season Opener featuring UMP Kettler & Son’s Late Models, Modifieds, B Modifieds, and Belleville Automotive Pure Stocks has been cancelled. The overly saturated grounds, combined with the projected rainfall and extended forecast has forced the cancellation of the event.
Belle-Clair Speedway will be closed on May 22nd for Memorial Day weekend and May 29th for the Shriner’s Circus. When the track re-opens, regular racing will be held on Sundays. The next event is scheduled for Sunday, June 7th for the Illinois SPEED week finale featuring the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series and POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series.
