Car Hurling New Maximum Destruction Event

Car Hurling This event consists of 2-car teams and is just like it sounds. One car will hurl the other car just as far as it can. The team who can hurl a car the farthest is the winner. This is open to all Auto City Speedway drivers and cars. Two cars and two drivers will form a single team. Any cars registered to race can do car hurling; pure stocks and virtual 6 cars & hornets are recommended. Also anyone competing in the Maximum Destruction can enter Each team will run one at a time. They will line up at the start/finish line, nose to tail. The front car must not be running and is not allowed to start its engine at any time. The rear car is running. The rear car will begin by pushing the lead car around the track. As the two come out of turn four, the rear car is supposed to hurl the lead car as far across the start/finish line as it can. The hurling (rear) car will hit the brakes and is not allowed to cross the start/finish line. The rear car must come to a complete stop on the asphalt, shut its engine off, and remain there until the lead car coasts to a complete stop. If the throwing car crosses the start/finish line, puts the car into reverse, or leaves the asphalt, the team is disqualified. The lead car will continue coasting around the track as far as it can go. It must stay on the asphalt the entire time. If it leaves the asphalt, the team is disqualified. Once the car comes to a complete stop, its position will be marked. The next team will then line up at the start/finish line and make its hurl. The team hurling a car the farthest is the winner.
