Update from the Legend's Shop: 7/8/19
Thursday Thunder rounds 8 and 9 are on the schedule for July 10th and 11th. Our car counts remains good and we expect more of the same for this week’s double. We appreciate all the teams that have been racing here this summer and welcome any that have not made the trip so far.
We will again this week run a Chargers class for those drivers that are new to the program and are still in a learning mode. We had a good turnout of Chargers last week and also have had a good group of Rookie Bandoleros each week this summer. It is good to see these new drivers racing each week as that shows continued momentum as we move forward with our Georgia racing program.
We will also be racing this week on Saturday July 13th at Cordele. This is the rain out make-up event from two weeks ago. No cars were on the track two weeks ago so it will be a full program for all teams that can attend. With three INEX races in four days we hope to see a few teams make the trip from out of town. As the next few weeks pass we will be giving out more information on the two special events we will Host in Georgia this November.
Plans are in place for the Legends Cars Road Race World Finals to be held November 1st 2nd and 3rd at Atlanta Motorsport Park in Dawsonville and the Legends Cars are going to be on track at Lanier National Speedway November 14th and 15th. Bandolero racing will be an added part of both of these events. More information will be released soon on these dates.
