Bailes tops Carolina Clash foes at Lavonia Speedway

Friday night saw Ross Bailes return behind the wheel of the Billy Hicks-owned No. 79 Longhorn Chassis Late Model entry at Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series-sanctioned program. Drawing 28 cars, Bailes locked into the third-starting position for the A-Main vis his qualifying effort. Tracking down polesitter Michael Brown on lap 30, Ross led the remaining 10 circuits to capture his second win of the season and fourth career Carolina Clash triumph.
