Series Information

In 2015, Jason Walls started a 602 crate modified series, know as the Mid-East Modified tour, that visited 4 different tracks. With the help of his wife Brittany, they built a successful 20+ race series that has toured for 4 years.
At the end of 2019, Jason and Josh Hellams partnered to create the Mid-East Street Stock division. Together in the beginning of 2020, Walls and Hellams founded Mid-East Motorsports. Mid-East Motorsports is now identified as the parent company of the Mid-East Modified Tour, Mid-East 602 Late Models, Mid-East Street Stocks, Mid-East Pro 4's and Mid-East Weekly racing.
Although 2020 has presented its challenges with the COVID-19 virus and nationwide lockdowns in the opening months of racing season, Mid-East was able to pull off a successful and record setting year. Walls and Hellams plan on continuing to grow the Mid-East Motorsports legacy and are pleased to bring on 602 Late Models to the 2021 lineup.
