Shocks by Hammer to Sponsor Nightly WWS X-Mod Non-Qualifier Cash
SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (Nov. 24, 2020) —Shocks by Hammer is continuing its support of the RHRSwag.com Truck Accessories X-Mod division presented by Barnett Harley Davidson at the 2021 edition of the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway.
On each of the six race nights, the Brian Diede led company will pay $50 each to the first four non-qualifiers in RHRSwag.com Truck Accessories X-Mod competition.
“There’s a lot of racers, who tow a long way to Arizona to race, and each night there’s several of them, who don’t qualify for the big show. So for the upcoming year I thought I’d do something to provide some extra money to some of those drivers, who may have otherwise had a bad night, Diede said. “The Wild West Shootout is a cool deal, and a lot of racers from my area make the tow out there to race every year. It’s a good time, and it’s an event I’m proud to sponsor.
A Huron, South Dakota-based shock-service business launched in 2011 by veteran Upper Midwest racer Brian Diede, Shocks by Hammer returns for a second year to sponsor the winter motorsports extravaganza that features six evenings of action for X-Mods as well as Super Late Models and Modifieds.
“The X-Mod division has grown to be a loaded field each-and-every year at the Wild West Shootout, said event coordinator Ben Shelton. “Some of these racers travel over 30 hours to be at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway, so it’s awesome to have Shocks by Hammer continuing to sponsor some extra cash for these competitors on a nightly basis.
