Black Diamond Race Cars Return to 2021 Wild West Shootout

Black Diamond Race Cars supporting 2021 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout as Super Late Model division’s presenting sponsor

PHOENIX, Ariz. (October 2, 2020) – Black Diamond Race Cars continue its support of the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway, returning as the presenting sponsor of the 2021 event’s headline Super Late Model division.

A Shreveport, La.-based Dirt Late Model chassis manufacturer operated by Ronnie and Terri Stuckey, Black Diamond has a long history of involvement in the Southwest’s mid-winter racing extravaganza that in 2021 features six nights of racing from Jan. 9-17. The Dirt Track Bank Super Late Models presented by Black Diamond Race Cars will contest five $5,000-to-win events and a $15,000-to-win finale while Modifieds and X-Mods are on the cards as supporting classes.

“Each and every year Ronnie and Terri Stuckey go above and beyond to support our event, said Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout event manager Ben Shelton. “Their relentless work ethic with their championship-winning chassis company is visible in everything that they do, and their support of the Wild West Shootout is no exception. Knowing that they are always just a phone call away is something that our entire staff is extremely grateful for. Without their support there’s no way that we would’ve been able to grow the Wild West Shootout into the mega-event that you see today.

Ronnie Stuckey also owns the Black Diamond house car team that Earl Pearson Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., campaigns on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and in other major events. He plans to enter the Wild West Shootout once again with Pearson while also providing technical assistance to his Black Diamond customers competing in Arizona.

“I always enjoy heading to the Wild West Shootout each January. The weather is great out there and it gives us a chance to help our customers get a jump start on the new season with so much track time in a 10-day window, Stuckey noted. “The Wild West Shootout provides us with an opportunity to fine tune the Black Diamond House Car in preparation for the new Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season, while also providing hands-on help with several of our clients, who race out there each year. It’s a win-win, all the way around.
