Tri-State Late Models
Field set for inaugural visit to Crawford County Speedway
The RepairableVehicles.com Tri-State Late Model Series will make its first appearance at Crawford County Speedway Friday night. A star-studded field of late model aces will compete for the 2020 points opener at the Denison, Iowa, speed plant.
IMCA divisions will also be on hand, including modifieds, sport modifieds, stock cars, hobby stocks and sport compacts. Not only is this the first points event of the year for the RepairableVehicles.com Tri-State Late Model Series, it is also the track’s first official action of the calendar year.
Because of restrictions still in place in Iowa, there will be no fan attendance at the speedway. However, every lap will be broadcast on https://racexr.com/
After Friday’s competition, the RepairableVehicles.com Tri-State Late Model Series will go north to Park Jefferson Speedway. Saturday’s race is the first appearance at the North Sioux City, South Dakota, 4/10 mile track for the series. More than 40 cars are registered for Saturday’s event that also features IMCA divisions.
