Blair Nothdurft tallies a pair of Top-5 finishes with Tri-State Series

Blair Nothdurft followed the Tri-State Late Model Series to Rapid Speedway (Rock Rapids, Iowa) on Friday night for the $1,000 top prize. In a field of 15 cars, Blair locked his spot into the opening night feature with a fourth place finish in his heat. On Saturday afternoon at Fairmont Raceway (Fairmont, Minn.), Blair jumped up one spot in his heat race to pick up the 8-lap victory. Holding his spot for all 20 laps of the feature, Nothdurft notched a third place finish behind Luke Sathoff and Chad Olsen with Gary Brown Jr. and Jordan Heiman completing the Top-5 finishers.

Blair holds a 33-point advantage over Gary Brown Jr. atop the Tri-State Series point standings.
