Jim Bernheisel attends Bloomsburg's debut

With Saturday night’s World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series event at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pa.) rained out, Jim Bernheisel made his lone start of the weekend on Sunday afternoon at Bloomsburg Fair Speedway (Bloomsburg, Pa.) as the 3/8-mile oval completed its first event. In a field of 16 Zimmer’s United Late Model Southern Series (ULMS) entries, Bernheisel secured his spot into the $3,000-to-win A-Main with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Max Blair. Bringing out the first caution of the race, Jim tagged the wall on the opening lap that sidelined him for the remainder of the event.
