Jim Bernheisel notches 10th-place finish at Selinsgrove

On Friday afternoon, Jim Bernheisel trekked to Path Valley Speedway (Spring Run, Pa.) for the Zimmer’s United Late Model Southern Series-sanctioned Night of Power. After a fourth-place finish in his heat race locked his spot into the $3,000-to-win A-Main, persistent rain before the start of the feature postponed the finale to Sept. 6.

The following night at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pa.), Jim timed in 11th fastest in qualifying before placing fourth in his heat. With $4,000 on the line in the feature, Bernheisel ran a steady pace throughout the 40-lapper to finish 10th.
