Midwest Legends Dirt Series
Beaver Dam Next on the Cards for the MLDS.
West Allis, WI (July 17th, 2024) - The Midwest Legends Dirt Series Presented by Legends.Direct is set to return this Saturday to Beaver Dam Raceway for a big night. The series third trip to the track is looking to be even better than the previous. The points battle heading into the night is heating up, with some heavy hitters starting to show.
The third trip to the 1/3rd banked clay oval will see the series racing a full show once again on night two for the track. Jackson Lewis and Michael Weber have both picked up wins at the track this season with the MLDS while Lewis has led the way for the track's weekly racing. Weber snatched the win away from Lewis the last time the MLDS was on the cards at the track in a thrilling finish.
Jackson Lewis leads the way in the points so far with 485 points to his name. Second is Jordan Miklas on 461 points, 24 points behind Lewis with Ryan Sullivan third with 438 points. Hayden Schmuhl is in his own world with 424 points. A six-point battle for fifth is heating up with Dallas Ross, Charlie Spoonmore, and Michael Weber all right there with each other fighting for the final top five spot. Adam Zellmer and Brady Ascherien are locked in a battle for eighth with 352 and 349 points respectively. A twenty-point gap between tenth and fifteenth place is on as well with Cal Swenson, Nate Werner, Tim Franz, Matt Gritt, Colton Utley, and Nate Wolbers close to each other.
The MLDS will be racing alongside Street Stocks, IMCA Modifieds, Sport Mods, and Stock Cars who will be going at it for $2,500 this Saturday. The pits will open at 3:30pm with gates opening at 4:00pm. Racing is set to start at 6:00pm sharp.
