Lewis Does It Again

Darlington, WI (August 3rd, 2024) - Jackson Lewis opened up his August account with a win at the Lafayette County Speedway for the first time of the season with the Midwest Legends Dirt Series Presented by Legends.Direct. The win came as Lewis’s sixth of the season as he continues to dominate the season up to this point.

A night high twenty-five cars made the trip southwest for the night. The track, which was supposed to host a race earlier in the season but got rained out, was prepped and ready to go for a great race. Area regulars Dave Eberle, Craig Peckenscheider, Cohen Henze, Scott Busch, and more joined in with the series regulars for a fantastic night of racing.

Michael Weber, Jackson Lewis, and Dallas Ross started the night off right, picking up the heat race wins early in the night. Weber charged up five positions in heat one to pick up the win over Scott Busch and Payton Jones. Lewis battled with Brady Ascherien for heat two’s win, with Lewis picking it up, Ascherien in second, and Jordan Miklas coming in third. Ross picked up heat three’s win after a battle with second finisher Jeff Schmidt; Griffin McGrath finished third in the heat.

Jordan Miklas and Scott Busch started on the front row of the feature. The fifteen lap feature, which did not see a driver finish in the position they started in, witnessed the driver out of Lakeville, Minnesota, Jackson Lewis pick up yet another win on the season. Michael Weber finished second after a rough previous weekend. Jordan Miklas brought home third after a strong night. Fourth went to Jeff Schmidt and fifth was Adam Zellmer.

A strong night for Jackson Lewis meant he took home 25% off a Full Suit Fit from Rush RaceGear and a Buy-1-Get-1 Wheel Rim from to Aero Race Wheels. Dave Eberle took home the hard charger spot, up eleven spots, finishing in ninth from his twentieth starting spot. He brought home $100 off any purchase from Rush RaceGear and $25 from SunSet Auto. Nate Werner won the HMS Motorsports Sentry Receiver device.

The Midwest Legends Dirt Series Presented by Legends.Direct returns to Maquoketa Speedway this Saturday, August 3rd for the final time of the season. All action can be seen at the track or on Doneright.tv.
