Rookie Rhodes Takes Bama Brawl Checkers
FORT PAYNE, Ala. (02/26/22) --- Fort Payne, AL. (2/26/22) --- Leading the entire distance Saturday afternoon, rookie United Championship Racing Alliance racer Brent Rhodes of Crossville, AL claimed the biggest win of his career over 2021 Red Line Synthetic Oil UCRA champion Kenny Kizzar of Sale Creek and home town racer Kasey Hall of nearby Geraldine. Logan Palmer was fourth across the finish line but failed to report to tech after the race and was subsequently disqualified. Jeff Helms of Gadsden and Jason Cardwell of Knoxville rounded out the top 5 behind the #13 "Park City Auto Parts, Chase Oliver Racing Ore Racing Engines" Black Diamond racer. Tyler Nichols, Shane Griffith, Nickey Odel, Addison Cardwell, Jesse Hughes, Caden Mullinax, Jason Williams, Wade Whittmore, Thomas Willoughby and Palmer rounded out the field. (Josh James image)
