UCRA Looks Ahead to 2023 Campaign

Cedartown, GA (12/23/22) --- The United Championship Racing Alliance – UCRA will be moving ahead with the 2023 season, with the full force of Red Line Synthetic Oil, behind it once again for the championship. A "Season to Remember Marvin Ford" (series creator) will boast the 604 Crate Late Model series at tracks around the Tennessee Valley, North Georgia and Alabama area's. Events set between $2,000, and $5,000 to win, will be contested with 40 and 50 lap races.

A boost of $2,500 will increase the champions payout to $7,500 in 2023, providing all requirements are met throughout the season. Again a Rookie of the Year bonus will follow the series paying $1,000 to the highest points eligible candidate. Ben Shelton's MSRMafia media group will again handle the series www.UCRARacing.com website.

Rules and eligibility requirements will remain the same for the most part, the one exception being racers must compete in 80% of all scheduled races, which includes RotY honors. As for the first two official dates of the 2023 Marvin Ford comerative season, the "Bama Brawl" kicks things off, the weekend after the Daytona 500, February 23-25th paying $3,023 to win, on Saturday, along with Chris Tilley's Valvoline Iron Man Super Late Model series paying $5,000 to win.

As for race #2 of the UCRA season, Gary Hall's Tazewell Speedway will contest their annual $3,011 to win "Jim Arnwine Memorial" on Saturday night, March 18th. Janis Ingram (widow to the late Marvin Ford) and Steve Hixson will continue the series that provides economical dirt crate late model racing, for racers wanting to challenge for a regional title. Further dates will begin to become available after the first of the year.
