WILLIAMSBURG, OHIO (July 19, 2024)– The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels would make its second visit of the season to MRP Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH on Friday evening for the track’s 4th Annual Dustbuster 40 and Nick Hoffman of Mooresville, NC would lead the entire distance and claim the $7,000 first place money, plus scored another $1,000 for winning his heat, to leave with $8,000 in total earnings.

The 32-year-old Hoffman’s victory would his first of the season with the tour and his second career Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels victory. Hoffman would earn the victory in the Tye Twarog owned Longhorn Chassis powered by a Clements Race Engine and is sponsored by NOS Energy Drink, C&W Towing, Petroff Towing, Lonewolf Petroleum, Haulin’ Haskells, Bilstein Shocks, and Allgaier Performance Parts.

Nick Hoffman would take the lead at the start of the 4th Annual Dustbuster 40 Valvoline A-Main event, with Josh Rice, R.J. Conley, Jason Jameson, and Luke Morey in pursuit. The front five would remain the same for the first seven laps, with Hoffman beginning to lap slower traffic on lap eight. Jameson would challenge Conley for third at this point and would take third on lap nine, while Hoffman would begin to work heavy traffic by lap twelve. The only caution of the event waved on lap thirteen when Pete Crum slowed on the backchute. Hoffman would maintain the lead on the restart, followed by Rice, Jameson, Conley, and Devin Gilpin would go to fifth. Hoffman would hold the lead, but Rice would close in on Hoffman’s rear bumper by lap twenty-two and Rice would take a look for the lead on lap twenty-three, but couldn’t make the pass. Jameson would close in on Rice at this point as well and challenge for second, with Hoffman having to work heavy traffic on lap twenty-six. The top three would all be right together until Hoffman would put a lapped car between himself and Rice on lap thirty. Hoffman would maintain a comfortable advantage over the final few laps and score the victory. Rice and Jameson would complete the podium finishers, with Conley and Gilpin completing the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers would be Luke Morey, Tyler Collins, Zack Dohm, Rusty Schlenk, and Devin Shiels.
