Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints
Zielski Wins
(Wilmot, Wis., Saturday, August 1, 2020)--Oconomowoc's Ryan Zielski led green to checkered flag in the non-stop Autometer/Brewington Electric Wisconsin Wingless Sprints feature Saturday, August 1 at Wilmot Raceway. Zielski's first feature win of the season came as he worked lapped traffic while staying in front of a tight runnerup battle. Bristol's Chris Klemko took second holding off Trevor's Chris Dodd who finished third.
Next up for the 1/3-mile clay oval is the traditional IRA Founder's Night on Saturday, August 8 featuring the Bumper to Bumper IRA Winged Outlaw Sprint Cars returning to their original home track. The Founder's Trophy honoring the three men who originated the IRA, Ray Toft, Whitey Harris and the late Junior Dodd, will have the winner's name of this year's feature added to it and then returned to the Southeastern Wisconsin Racing Hall of Fame in Hartford where it is permanently displayed.
Autometer/Brewington Electric Wisconsin Wingless Sprints, IRA Lightning Sprints and Modifieds are on the program as well.
