Turn One Goes Grassroots with NSTA Modifieds

CARMEL, Ind. (May 16, 2017) – The NSTA Top Speed Modified Tour has announced a new partnership with Michigan-based Turn One High Performance Steering Systems for the 2017 racing season. This marks Turn One’s first entry into modified racing and the grassroots levels of American motorsports.

Turn One is supporting the Rookie of the Year program for the Tour, including the $1,000 prize awarded to the highest finishing rookie at the end of the season. Additionally, the company will provide a $50 product certificate to the 10th place finisher at each of the remaining 14 races on the 2017 Tour schedule.

“We are extremely honored to have Turn One join the NSTA Modified family. They have an incredibly rich history in racing and we are excited to show them the power of short track racing in 2017 and beyond,” remarked John Robbins, Series Director for the NSTA Top Speed Modified Tour.

Since 1997, Turn One has built steering systems for NASCAR’s top teams, including supplying steering products for 28 of the past 57 NASCAR Champions. Beyond providing the racing industry with the best possible steering products on the market, the company also supplies the hot rod and restoration markets.

“Turn One is excited to partner with the NSTA Top Speed Modified Tour this season,” added Jeff Roethlisberger, Jr., Marketing Director for Turn One. “We have been looking for opportunities to reach the grassroots racer and show them the value of our products. The future of the Tour is very bright and we felt it would be the best place for us to get involved in short track racing and grow our brand.”

In addition to supporting the Tour through product award certificates and cash prizes, Turn One will have an enhanced presence at the track for several of the NSTA Modified events.
