Wissota Late Model Challenge Series
2016 OneMain Challenge Series to Again Pay $10k to the Champion!
Details have been finalized for the 2016 OneMain WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series which once again will pay the series champion a $10,000 point fund check. There will be a requirement of full participation in series events to qualify for this year’s point fund, meaning drivers must attend all series events to be eligible for the point fund, however the series will continue to allow each driver to drop their lowest point show, which will not be counted toward the series point standings – if a driver is not able to make one event on the schedule, they will be allowed to use that as their dropped show.
Series Director Craig Sullivan said "with this new standard in place, a driver that is 15th in series points could potentially move up in the point standings if a driver ahead of them in points does not meet the required number of events. This is a great opportunity for anyone willing to commit to the entire series."
There will be several other awards given out each night such as hard charger, highest passing points total, 1/2 way leader in the feature, the driver who draws the pole in the redraw, as well as several random draws each night for various prizes.
A big thank you to all the sponsors involved with this year’s Challenge Series.

A reminder that drivers planning on running any of the Challenge Series schedule should be ready when they arrive at the track and have all owner/driver 1099 information, transponder number, and WISSOTA license with them at sign in. This will help speed up the process at the back gate.
