Lucas Oil NOW600 Series Visiting Texas This Weekend for Doubleheader at RPM and Superbowl

Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (July 16, 2018) – The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass is bound for Texas this weekend for a micro sprint doubleheader.

The series will make its first stop of the season at RPM Speedway in Crandall on Friday before venturing to Superbowl Speedway in Greenville on Saturday. The Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class divisions will compete both nights while the Stock Non-Wing class will race only on Saturday at Superbowl Speedway.

Daniel Shaffer has used a division-leading eight top fives to build a 56-point lead in the Stock Non-Wing championship standings over Daison Pursley, who is the most recent winner during a non-points race last week. Shaffer and Pursley are also in a five-way tie atop the win’s list with a pair of victories a piece.

Jim Woods holds a six-point advantage over Pursley in the Winged ‘A’ Class championship standings while six-time winner Frank Flud is only 16 points out of the lead.

Ryder Laplante is riding a three-race winning streak in the Restricted ‘A’ Class division to lead the championship standings by seven points over Ryan Timms.

The gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m. on Friday at RPM Speedway. Superbowl Speedway will open its gates at 6 p.m. on Saturday with racing set for 8 p.m.

RPM Speedway tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors, active military members and children ages 13-years-old to 15 years old. Children ages 12-years-old and younger get in free. Pit passes are $30 per person.

Superbowl Speedway tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 7-years-old to 11-years-old and seniors 65-years-old and older. Pit passes are $35 per person.
