DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (December 20, 2018) - For the first time in series history the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies will invade the "Diamond State" of Arkansas in 2019.

Paying honor Chase Gibson the past two years, father Rodney who had big plans for the Race for Chase event unfortunately passed away at the end of November.

Since the passing of Rodney, I-30 Speedway promoter, Tracey Clay reached out to NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox to put together a big event to honor both of these men and to ensure Rodney's vision of the event would be fulfilled to the max.

Chase Gibson served in the United States Air Force from May 2013 until his passing in November of 2016 and with Memorial Day weekend falling on May 27, both I-30 and NOW600 will run the Race for Chase and Rodney event on Saturday, May 18. It will be Armed Forces night with all Military Personnel that have their ID getting in free to the grandstands.

All three Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series classes will be in action: Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted 'A' Class while the NOW600 Weekly Racing Outlaw class will also join the action.

What: Race for Chase and Rodney featuring the NOW600 Lucas Oil National Series and NOW600 Weekly Racing Outlaws.
When: Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 7:30pm
