Lucas Oil NOW600 to Sanction Stock Non-Wing during Tuesday Night Thunder at Red Dirt Raceway

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (June 23, 2018) - For the first time in 43 years the USAC P1 Insurance National Midgets will return to Oklahoma as Red Dirt Raceway will host "Tuesday Night Thunder."

During the Lucas Oil NOW600 Drivers Meeting on Friday, June 23 Red Dirt Raceway Promoter, Cody Brewer and Lucas Oil NOW600 Founder, Terry Mattox announced that the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass will sanction the Non-Wing Micro portion during "Tuesday Night Thunder" on Tuesday, July 10.

This will be a National Series sanctioned event, however with the announcement coming a few weeks before the event, the event will be a NON-POINTS event for the Stock Non-Wing division.

Standard Lucas Oil NOW600 Series procedure will apply. Drivers will pill draw at the competition trailer. $10 draw fee for ALL Stock Non-Wing Micro Sprints. Passing Points will be used to calculate line ups for the Semi and A-Main events.

Times and more info on Tuesday Night Thunder will be announced closer to event time.
