CRSA SERIES RETURNS TO ORANGE COUNTY FAIR SPEEDWAY SATURDAY
Oneonta, New York…The CRSA Sprint Tour is heading back to the historic “Hard Clay” of the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, New York Saturday. This will be the tour’s second appearance at the speedway. Earlier in May Cory Sparks took his car to Victory Lane in a hard fought battle with Jeremy Quick, Scott Goodrich, Kyle Smith, and Mike Kiser. The upcoming event will be the second of five races at Orange County Fair Speedway's 5/8 mile oval and the fourth race of the E&H Services / Esposito's Lawn & Garden "Southern Tier Challenge.
After last Friday’s exciting feature event at the I-88 Speedway in Afton, New York Scott Goodrich has taken a forty point leaded in the championship standings over Cory Sparks and Mike Kiser. Kyle Smith and Dalton Herrick complete the top five in points. Goodrich has been on a hot streak winning two of the last three events at I-88 and Penn Can. Other 2015 feature event winners include Josh Pieniazek and Jordon Thomas.
The 2015 CRSA Sprint Car Tour is off to a great start. With only five races in the books, thirty five different drivers have started feature races. The series is averaging over twenty two cars per event. After returning to Orange County Fair Speedway, the tour moves back to the southern tier of New York to the Five Mile Point Speedway on Saturday June 13th.
When racing returns to Orange County Fair Speedway on Saturday another great field of sprint cars is expected. Heat races and another exciting twenty five lap feature are on the schedule. Racing on May 30 begins promptly at 6:60 pm. Admission remains $14 for adults, $12 seniors, and $1 for children 12 and under.
