KEVIN NAGY WINS EASTERN STATES CRSA FEATURE AT ORANGE COUNTY
Middletown, New York…A great field of 305 CRSA Sprints made their final appearance of the season at the historic Orange County Fair Speedway. The event was part of the annual Eastern States Weekend. Kevin Nagy, making his first CRSA start of the season, found the Orange County Fair Speedway to his liking. Nagy was the Dash winner and won his heat race. He then started on the pole and led every lap to complete a day of complete domination.

Nagy and Eddie Strada lead the field to green. Nagy jumped to the top spot and took control. The first ten laps ran without caution. Nagy lead the pack with Orange County sportsman runner Brian Krummell moving into the second position early in the feature. A hard crash in turn three brought out the red flag when Brody Adamskiy flipped his car. The driver was uninjured in the hard crash.
When racing resumed, Nagy and Krummel were at the front of the pack with point leader Kyle Smith moving through the top ten into the third position. The final caution flew for the disabled car of Christian Rumsey falling out of the top ten. Nagy won over Krummel with Smith third followed by Scott Flammer, and Scott Goodrich.

Sprint Notes: The race was the largest payoff in the history of the CRSA winged warriors, as a huge sponsorship from Middletown locals, Chuck Alessi, Dan Hennessy, Scott Goodrich, Brad Radivoy, Bucky Neiger and Connecticut's Mark Taylor, rounded up an additional $3000 in bonus money added to the already increased purse which will give the winner a cool $1000 and a whopping $230 dollars to start this twenty five lap -A-Main. A tough break for former Orange County modified driver Frank Jashembowski who dropped out on the pace lap when his car refused to fire. When racing returns to Five Mile Point Speedway on Friday another great field of sprint cars is expected. Heat races and another exciting twenty five lap feature are on the schedule with the sprinters racing for $1000 to win. Gates open at 4:00, Hot Laps at 5:45 pm, racing at 6:45pm.
