Dancer Produces Second Straight Top 10 at Limaland With NRA Sprint Invaders

Inside Line Promotions – LIMA, Ohio (April 25, 2017) – Shawn Dancer had another good car last Friday at Limaland Motorsports Park.

“In the heat race, we started fourth and finished fourth,” he said. “That started us 11th in the A Main and we had a really good car. Ken Karhoff has been helping and had it set up really well.”

However, the NRA Sprint Invaders feature was a tough battle as Dancer said he almost felt like the car was a yo-yo.

“We would pass three or four cars and then back up three or four cars,” he said. “It kept going back and forth and back and forth. We never seemed to gain anything and stay there.”

Dancer made it up to sixth or seventh before falling out of the top 10. He charged through the field again and was able to claim an eighth-place finish.

“It was a tough go, but it was still a good car,” he said. “Now the driver has to pick it up a little bit.”

Dancer will travel to Indiana this weekend for two nights with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series on Friday at Plymouth Speedway in Plymouth and Saturday at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt.

“We were with the Outlaws out in Vegas (last month) and we did all right,” he said. “We’re looking for an A Main start and hope to have a good night overall.”
