Crate Racin' USA Crowns 2024 Weekly Division Champions
(Eastaboga, AL – October 23, 2024) – The excitement of the 2024 weekly racing season wrapped up on Sunday, September 29, as the Crate Racin' USA Weekly Division champions were officially announced, concluding 32-weeks of competition. Each division champion will be honored at the Crate Racin' USA Awards Banquet, that will be announced at a later date.
Weekly Late Models (604)
David Williamson of Seminary, Mississippi, claimed his first career CRUSA National Championship, edging out Chase Holland by just 12 points. Williamson showcased an incredible season, notching 12 victories and achieving 29 Top 10 finishes in 32 features.Late Model Sportsman (602)
In the Late Model Sportsman division, Bryson Mitchell of Russellville, Alabama, secured his second CRUSA National Championship. Mitchell’s impressive late season run included 10 wins out of 22 starts, with all his races resulting in Top 10 finishes and 20 of those being in the Top 5.Street Stock Division
Calvin Martin of Carriere, Mississippi, took the title in the Street Stock Division, marking his second national championship, having previously won in 2022. Martin's season included 17 wins, alongside 22 Top 5s and 23 Top 10s in just 24 starts.Modified Sportsman
Chuck Gipson of Tuscumbia, Alabama, made history by becoming the first driver in CRUSA history to win three consecutive National Championships in the Modified Sportsman division. Gipson's remarkable consistency led him to 19 wins and an astonishing record of 35 Top 10 finishes, including 32 Top 5s across 35 features.
