Crate Racin' USA
Late Model Sportsman Tour Down to Three
(Eastaboga, AL - 9/9/24) - The inaugural season of the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Late Model Sportsman Tour has delivered excitement, drama, and unforgettable moments throughout the year. As the season approaches its thrilling end, drivers and fans alike are gearing up for the final three races that will determine the champion. Here's a look at what's in store for the tour's grand finale.
A Double-Header Weekend Showdown
The action kicks off with a high-octane double-header weekend. On Friday, September 20th, Moulton Speedway in Moulton, AL will host the first of two pivotal races. Known for its tight turns and challenging layout, Moulton is sure to test the skills and nerves of every competitor. With $2,000 up for grabs to the winner, expect nothing less than fierce competition and daring maneuvers.
The very next night, Saturday, September 21st, the tour shifts gears to Pine Ridge Speedway in Baldwyn, MS for another $2,000-to-win event. Pine Ridge's unique configuration will add another layer of excitement as drivers battle for position and points in this crucial phase of the tour.
To sweeten the deal, both events feature a bonus $1,000 mini points fund, adding extra incentive for drivers to push their limits and seize every opportunity to climb the standings.
Season Finale at Cherokee Speedway
The grand finale will be a fitting culmination of a memorable season, taking place at the legendary Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, SC. Dubbed "The Place Your Mama Warned You About," Cherokee is renowned for its rowdy atmosphere and rich traditions. The Blue Gray 100, a fall tradition at Cherokee, will be co-sanctioned with the Mid-East 604 Late Models, promising a star-studded field and thrilling racing action.
The Blue Gray 100 has become a marquee event for Late Model racers, and with the Crate Racin' USA Late Model Sportsman Tour joining the festivities, fans can expect that to continue. The final race of the season will not only crown the tour champion but also offer a chance for redemption and glory in one of the most anticipated events of the year.
