Driver Information
Started racing go-carts when I was 9 years old. I raced go-carts for about 7 years. In that time, I had many top 5 finishes and 2 feature wins. I was racing with an old 1989 Margay Lynx straight rail chassis. These chassis were built for asphalt racing, that's what it was used for before we got ahold of it. When we got it, we decided to see if there was lead in the frame rails, which would've helped with the stability of it on an asphalt course. We were right, we emptied out about 100 pounds of lead from the frame rails. After things got going really well, it became a good and competitive cart among the other competition it was dealt. Nobody thought we would win, but we proved them wrong in corner 4 on the last lap of the feature one day, it was a very proud moment for all of us. When I was 16, we got out of go-cart racing. Around the time I was 18, I started pursuing late model racing with full force. I started off driving in hot laps on and off, which was a good start to get the feel of things and how the late models worked. After a time, I started getting really comfortable with the car and how it drove. In 2020, I ran my very first full night in a late model the second night before the 2020 season would end. I also raced the last night of the year too. I was pretty far down on the points standings for 2020 but I was ok with that. After the 2020 season was over, I was nothing but determined to get into a car full time for 2021. I'll never understand how I managed it, but I made that dream come true. 2021 came, and things were going really well. We had some ups and downs but overall, it was a good season. We finished 4th in points at the Independence Motor Speedway, 6th in the rookie late model standings, and 55th in the U.S. standings. For my first full season I had no complaints about that. Lets bring it on.
