Driver Information

I started racing in 1993 in the street stock class. I raced 2 nights in august at cedar lake both nights ended in dnf's due to engine problems.
Finished 8th in points at Red cedar and 9th in points at cedar lake in 1994 with 4 heat race wins and several top tens. In 1995 racing the street stock I won the opening night feature at red cedar speedway and finished 2nd at the mid and season championship races. Finished 3rd in points at cedar lake and won most improved driver of the year. 4th in points at red cedar and 19th of 462 in Wissota national points.

In September of 1995 ran 2 races in a A mod. Raced A mods off and on until 2003. In 1997 we decided to race the asphalt at raceway park in Shakopee wining a heat race and feature during the Wednesday night thunder series. Finishing 6th in points we were ready to continue but the track changed to Fridays and we decided to go back dirt racing.
Raced my father-in-laws super stock in 1998 for 8 nights gaining 2 top tens.
In 1999 my dad purchased a Cobra chassis and after 17 nights I had only finished out of the top 111 once due to a opening night clutch failure. The 18th race a valve broke and pretty much ended the season.
In 2000 we decided to race late models with limited success but won rookie of the year at Red cedar speedway. We tried again in 2001 but several part failures limited the season to 8 races.
In 2002 I raced A mod again but only ran 4 year end specials.

In 2003 I was the first driver to attempt qualifying for three classes at the Wissota 100. I raced a b-mod and missed transferring to the a main by one spot. While running in the last transfer spot 5 laps in the b-main I had my left rear flattened and didnt continue in the A mod. In the late model I finished 8th in the b main and the top 3 only went on to the feature.
I helped build several vintage cars for my dad and father-in-law who founded and started the Northern Vintage Stockcar Racers in 1999 along with 3 other friends and former racers. Raced and helped run as a board member NVSR vintage series from 2003 to 2005. After beating up on the old guys and recovering from 3 knee surgeries I decided to go back Modified racing.

Ran full season in 2006 in A mod had 10 top tens of 22 races.

In 2007 raced A mod only 4 nights. Raced at Knoxville Raceway in my latemodel at the late model nationals.
From 2008 to 2011 I raced only a few time a year in both B and A mod.
I started back full time in 2011 racing b-mod. in 18 nights I finished in the top ten 12 nights with one heat race win. I also had 2 top fives that season.
2012,13 were up and down seasons while only racing parts of each year.
2014 finished 16th in dash points only racing 3 shows
2015 was a good B mod year as we finished 9th in cedar lakes dash points while only running 4 of the 6 nights. 14 top tens in 22 nights of racing. 2nd place in several heats and a couple of b-mains.
2016 was less then spectacular since we only race 18 nights with only 9 top tens.
2017 was my first year after 24 consecutive not to compete in a race. we went to Mississippi thunder and the 3rd lap of practice the car took a immediate right turn head on into the wall and flipped on the roof. a first rolling over and a first year not competing.
2018 after consideration to different options I decided to try a 360 non-winged traditional sprint car. Finished 8th in points and won rookie of the year with one Heat race win and 3 top ten finshes.

1995 street stock 3rd track points and most improved driver of the year at Cedar Lake Speedway. 4th track points at Red Cedar Speedway and 19th of 462 in Wissota National points. 5 heat race wins, 1 feature win, 5 seconds and 26 top tens out of 32 races

1997 12 race series at Raceway park Wednesday night thunder series 6th in series points 1 heat race and 1 feature win running only 11 races.

2005 won final feature at Grove creek speedway in vintage car. Track now closed.
2018 Umss Traditional sprintcar rookie of the year.
