Tony Jackson Jr. takes on MLRA competition at Adams County
In a return to the Lucas Oil MLRA ranks on Sunday, Tony Jackson Jr. raced to a top-15 finish in the Cinco de Mayo 40 at Adams County Speedway.
With a $5,000 first-place prize up for grabs, Jackson’s Capital Race Cars No. 25 Super Late Model was among 30 in the pit area at the quarter-mile oval in Quincy, Illinois.
Jackson clocked the fourth-quickest time in his group qualifying session, then used a runner-up finish in his heat race to start seventh in the 40-lap main event. He ultimately came home in the 13th position.
With three events completed in the 2024 campaign, Jackson is tied for third in the Lucas Oil MLRA point standings.
