Jackson Jr attends Illinois Speedweek

Drawing 56 Castrol FloRacing Night in America mini-series entries, Tony came in fourth in his heat before grabbing the third-and-final transfer spot in his B-Main. Starting the feature in 24th, Jackson Jr. was an early retiree on the seventh circuit.

For another $22,022-to-win Castrol FloRacing Night in America event on Thursday at Lincoln Speedway (Lincoln, Ill.), Jackson’s fifth-place finish in his heat race relegated him into the B-Main. Transferring the top-two into the A-Main, Tony fell short with a fourth-place outing.

On Friday evening at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) for the MARS Racing Series-sanctioned Farmer City 74 presented by Douglas Dodge, Tony missed a transfer spot in his heat by one spot, sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place second or better, Jackson Jr. pulled off early in the 10-lapper.
