Pair of Top 10's with Comp Cams at West Plains

With Mother Nature postponing Friday night’s program to Sunday, Tony Jackson Jr. invaded Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) on Saturday night for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) doubleheader. With 49 cars on hand for the Missouri Hardwoods Back to the Future 50, Tony recorded the second fastest lap in his group behind Neil Baggett before picking up an 8-lap heat race win. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in third, Jackson Jr. dropped one spot in the 50-lapper to place fourth behind Steve Casebolt, Payton Looney, and Kent Robinson with Timothy Culp coming in fifth.

On Sunday afternoon for the West Plains Resaw Back to Business 30, Jackson Jr. followed up the sixth fastest time in his qualifying group with a second place finish in his heat behind Payton Looney. With Karl Chevrolet boosting the purse of the feature to $9,000, Tony held his spot for all 30-laps to register a seventh place finish.
