TJR attends Show-Me 100 at Wheatland

Tony Jackson Jr. made the short trip to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Saturday afternoon for the 28th annual Show-Me 100. With 44 cars on hand for the event co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and the Lucas Oil MLRA, Jackson Jr. ran into terminal engine issues in hot laps that sidelined him from his heat race and B-Main. Earning a provisional into the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Tony hopped behind the wheel of Mason Oberkramer’s secondary ride to complete 37 circuits before retiring early from the 100-lapper.

He sat out Sunday afternoon’s CMH Diamond Nationals.

Tony remains in fourth in the latest MLRA point standings.
