Gonzales, Hayward and Craver Reach Victory Lane at BMP Speedway

Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (May 27, 2017) – Marvin Gonzales, Stewart Hayward and Cory Craver each scored their first feature victory of the season at BMP Speedway on Saturday evening.

Gonzales charged from ninth to claim the WISSOTA midwest modifieds main event. Defending track champion Dennis Hurd advanced from sixth to second place with Jay Will maneuvering from seventh to third place. Cody Kuglin rallied from 12th to a fourth-place finish and Cory Wilder rounded out the top five.

Wilder, Steven Stephenson and Gonzales were the heat race winners.

Hayward also powered from ninth to capture the IMCA modifieds A Main triumph over seventh-starting Justin Elmer. Joey Price finished third with Jeremy Meirhofer fourth and Jake Dimond fifth.

Travis Davis and Hayward each registered a heat race victory.

Craver recorded the feature win in the WISSOTA street stocks division after starting on the inside of the second row. Defending track champion Robert Petroff ended in the runner-up position with Kenneth Hunter third, Devin Kenaston fourth and Christopher Harley fifth.

Craver and Kenaston each produced a heat race triumph.

BMP Speedway will return to action next Saturday when the track will host IMCA modifieds, WISSOTA super stocks, WISSOTA midwest modifieds and the Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series. The front gates are slated to open at 5:30 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.
