Craver First to Four Wins at BMP Speedway; Smith, George and Hurd Also Garner Victories
Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (July 8, 2017) – Cory Craver became the first driver to reach four feature victories at BMP Speedway this season when he earned another WISSOTA street stock triumph on Saturday evening.
David Smith, Jason George and Dennis Hurd were also victorious at the 3/8-mile oval.
Craver charged from eighth to give him four wins in eight WISSOTA street stocks A Mains this season. Robert Petroff maneuvered from seventh to second place with Troy Lorenz rounding out the podium. Rex Feller advanced from 12th to fourth place and Lyle Imberi from 14th to fifth.
Craver and Lorenz were the heat race winners.
Smith, who started sixth, garnered his second straight WISSOTA late models main event victory during the return of the Wild West Late Model Tour. Chris Dunn placed second with Matthew Smith third, Mike Tom fourth and Brad Kerrison fifth.
Matthew Smith and David Smith each claimed a heat race.
George powered from fifth to record his first WISSOTA super stocks win of the season. Vance Lorenz, who also picked up a heat race victory, ended second with Patrick Lamere, Thomas May and Jace Lorenz rounding out the field, respectively.
Hurd rallied from sixth to become the sixth different WISSOTA midwest modifieds winner this year. Rod Lorenz advanced from eighth to second place with Jeremy Castro placing third, Keaton Lorenz fourth and Devin Kenaston fifth.
Steven Stephenson and Jake Marsich both won a heat race.
BMP Speedway will host NSA Series 360 sprint cars, WISSOTA late models, WISSOTA street stocks and WISSOTA midwest modifieds next Saturday.
