Horton survives rough racetrack at Senoia Raceway

Austin Horton traveled to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) on Saturday for a $10,053-to-win Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals event.

With a strong 43 car field in the pit area, Horton qualified eighth-quickest in his group before finishing third in his heat race to transfer to the A-Main. For the $10,053-to-win main event, Austin pulled off the track 10 laps before the checkered due to rough track conditions but was still credited with a sixth-place finish.
