Late wreck at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park results in DNF with Ultimate Supers
Heading back to his home track after the facility's summer hiatus, Benji Hicks joined a 28-car field at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series-sanctioned Ultimate Shootout.
Clicking off the second-fastest lap in his qualifying group, Hicks locked himself into the $7,500-to-win feature and was chasing down leader Jordan Koehler when a lap car spun in front of him. With no where to go, Benji slammed into the lapper which ended his night early. He was scored 12th.
