Eighth-place outing in World Short Track Championship at The Dirt Track at Charlotte

Joining a 60-car field at The Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.), Benji Hicks competed with Crate Racin' USA during the World Short Track Championship.

Hicks qualified 14th and finished third in heat race which placed him on the eighth-row for Saturday's finale. With a $4,000 payday up for grabs, Benji charged to a Top-10 finish in eighth.
